Prayer: Healing Lord, I don’t understand why so many people have to suffer. Sadly, most of us have been touched by cancer in one way or another. It is so difficult to watch friends and family struggle with this terrible disease. In these times it is easy to point fingers, place blame or question Your plan. Help me to put my trust in You. Amen.
Matthew 11:28-30
Jesus said:
"Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened,
and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am meek and humble of heart;
and you will find rest for yourselves.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light."
Refection questions: How do I ask God for help during times of stress, and uncertainty? Do I have a person I can talk to that I can trust with personal difficulties?
