Thank you for praying!

May 1 – 9

Military Spouse Appreciation Day (celebrated May 8)is a time to honor and pray for military spouses and the contributions they make to the military community. Military spouses are the backbone of the families who support troops during mission, deployment, reintegration and reset. They are the silent heroes who are just as essential as their loved ones to the strength of the nation they serve.

... do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” Isaiah 43:1b-2)

May 10 – 16

COVID-19 has shut down our access to many military installations. This has prevented us from physically being present to assist the chaplains in teaching Bible study classes and presenting the Gospel each week.PRAY for God to encourage the chaplains who are now challenged to meet the great spiritual needs without the weekly support of our team.PRAY for chaplains ministering during this time to be strengthened and to rest in the Lord even as they provide spiritual guidance and comfort to others.

"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power."(Isaiah 40:28-29)

May 17 – 23

PRAY against the spirit of suicide for service members and their families who may be feeling a sense of hopelessness and despair. Pray that they would release the weight of their burdens and weariness to God to allow Him to bring them into a place of rest and peace. In His presence, He offers restoration with His healing love, comfort and peace!

“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.”

(Romans 15:13)

May 24 – 31

PRAISE the Lord for opening new doors of ministry to uniformed (military, firefighters, police, customs, etc.) members for one-on-one discipleship in Mongolia; extensive video conferencing prayer times among Latin American leaders; live prayer text sessions in Africa; and Combat Recovery small groups through virtual platforms in Ukraine. In addition, we praise Him for creative and innovative ways He has allowed our teams to continue ministry to the U.S. military during this unique time in history! The Lord has given us the opportunity to have an extensive reach to military members through online Bible studies and mentoring!

"We give praise to the Lord, proclaiming His Name, making known among the nations what He has done [And is doing!]."(Psalm 105:1)
